This research paper explores the sustainable waste handling practices in the marble industry of Rajasthan, India. As Rajasthan is one of the world’s largest producers of marble, the extraction and processing of marble have significant environmental impacts, primarily in the form of waste generation. The paper analyzes the types of waste produced, evaluates existing sustainable practices, identifies challenges, and recommends future strategies for minimizing waste and improving waste management systems in the marble sector
