Abstract

Many research works are being conducted to prevent damage by birds not only to farms, orchards and airports but also to industrial environments. This paper describes the construction and efficacy of a laser bird repeller that immediately drives the bird away when it is down and sat on any object within the area under camera monitoring. In the capture image of the PTZ camera monitoring for a wide area, the object classification technique using the Caffe framework is used to identify the presence of a bird in real time, and when it is found that the bird is sat on an object in that area, the focus center of the PTZ camera equipped with the laser beam generator is automatically controlled to the target bird, the laser beam is launched and the bird is surprised and escapes from the object
