Abstract

This paper presents the design and development of a bomb diffusing and disposal robot aimed at reducing human involvement in hazardous explosive-handling operations. The system integrates an Arduino-based control architecture linked with a Raspberry Pi for video streaming, real-time detection, and remote operation. Key subsystems include a metal detector, ultrasonic sensor, Bluetooth module, 5DOF robotic arm, servo driver, HD camera, and a containment chamber. The robot is designed to detect, inspect, and assist in neutralizing explosive devices, with a mobility platform driven by motor drivers and wheels. The proposed design enhances operational safety, precision, and situational awareness in explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) scenarios
