Abstract

The rapid evolution of intelligent transportation systems has accelerated the demand for secure, scalable, and data-driven Connected Vehicle Platforms capable of supporting real-time mobility services and intelligent fleet operations. This paper proposes Smart Connect SDK, a cloud-native software development framework that integrates Automotive Telematics, Vehicle-to-Cloud Communication, and Real-Time Vehicle Data Acquisition into a unified architecture for connected mobility. The proposed platform seamlessly connects an in-vehicle DataLogger, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) interface, mobile applications, cloud infrastructure, and RESTful APIs to continuously acquire, process, and synchronize vehicle telemetry, onboard diagnostics, sensor information, GPS location, and operational data. To ensure secure and reliable communication, Smart Connect SDK incorporates end-to-end encryption, authenticated device pairing, secure API authorization, digital integrity verification, and cloud-based identity management, providing robust Automotive Cybersecurity for connected vehicle ecosystems. The cloud-native architecture enables scalable data storage, intelligent analytics, remote diagnostics, Fleet Monitoring, geofencing, driver behavior analysis, Predictive Maintenance, and Over-the-Air (OTA) Firmware Updates, allowing fleet operators to improve vehicle availability, minimize maintenance costs, and optimize operational performance through continuous real-time monitoring. The modular framework is designed for seamless interoperability across heterogeneous vehicle platforms and supports next-generation mobility technologies, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, electric vehicles, autonomous driving systems, edge computing, digital twins, and Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) Communication. Experimental evaluation demonstrates that the proposed platform delivers reliable low-latency vehicle connectivity, secure cloud integration, efficient telemetry processing, and scalable fleet management capabilities suitable for large-scale intelligent transportation deployments. By combining secure cloud computing, advanced vehicle analytics, and intelligent telematics within a unified software ecosystem, Smart Connect SDK establishes a future-ready Connected Vehicle Platform that enhances driver safety, fleet efficiency, vehicle lifecycle management, operational intelligence, and data-driven decision-making for next-generation smart mobility applications.
